A stabilizer link, also known as a control link, is a suspension component that connects to the vehicle's body or frame at one end and to the knuckle, upright, axle, or another link at the other end.
The lnk pivots on bushings or ball joints at each attachment point.
As time passes, the ball joints in the stabilizer bar link can deteriorate. The initial indication of a worn sway bar link is a knocking noise emanating from the suspension when driving slowly over road bumps.
Note: The deterioration of these links also has adverse effects on steering and handling performance.
